Support for Families

A Fairer Start is all about supporting families in their community and recognizing that each parent, child and family has a unique journey.

Through family play session, events, groups, 1 to 1 and more, the Champion Programme aims to help families:
  • Access appointments, available services and community activities
  • Improve confidence, meet other parents and socialize
  • Learn about child development and receive individual advice if needed
  • Help children make friends and thrive
  • Get advice and support for housing, benefits, debt, mental health, domestic abuse etc.
  • Access volunteering and training opportunities

A Fairer Start is for ALL families living in the Stockton Town Centre ward.
